Cool fight. Still wish it was Mikey vs Loma and Spence vs one of the top guys at welterweight.

I f#uck with Spence heavy. Probably my favourite fighter now bar none. However is he more skilled than Loma or Crawford? No but would he beat Crawford? He stops him in my humble opinion( ok bragadocious opinion)
I don't think it's that simple to say Loma and Crawford are more skilled than Spence.

More agile and more athletic, faster? Yes most certainly, but I think nowadays people confuse those attributes with actual skill.

Mind you Crawford and Loma are highly skilled, top 5 skilled easily in boxing, but that doesn't automatically mean they are more skilled than Spence.

I get your point but I feel as pure boxers they have more strings to their bow.

An extensive and successful amateur career ,although not always, is always a good indicator of how good a boxer is.

Spence is a good boxer I just feel Crawford and Loma are great boxers and their ring IQ is slightly better than Spence.

Spence admittedly has had the advantage of being naturally bigger than most of his opponents. The only time he wasn’t was against Kell Brook and that was nip and tuck till the 8th round

Mikey is light years better than Brook. If Spence beats Mikey, it'd be his best win, despite the size difference.

I don't like or understand this fight, however, as another poster has already said.

What’s Mikeys best win? Brooks best win before ggg was porter which is a better level of fighter than Mikey has beat so I’m not having the argument that he’s “miles better”

Do you see Brook on any P4P list? Has he ever been on one? Brook has never been the best, even in his weight class. Mikey has.

So we getting this fight then. Mikeys quality but so is Spence and I expect the size to be too big a hurdle to overcome.

He actually was on the Ring Magazine P4P list after his win over Porter I believe.

According to the Garcia's from interviews as recent as yesterday... Fight is still not official 100%.
(Seems that the month of May could also be at play for Mikey)

I'd rather see Mikey-Davis/Lomachenko and Canelo-Spence. I like both fighters a lot and, if this fight happens, I might root for Mikey a little more because of the size disadvantage.

                      Mikey is a big underdog.
