Those dismissing Bivol on this decision forget one thing, explained by some others on here...

    EXPOSURE

Which for a fighter on the way up means a lot.

Bivol HAS made a good decision.

More power to him. This fight will be one of the last to close out an era, and it is not a bad decision. Money isn't everything.

Should be a real fun fight. Bivol wins a fairly one sided action fight in the mid-rounds somewhere. Then I bet Showtime throws a ton of money at him to get the young turk. Sets up nice for a unification bout in the Summer.

I really doubt he goes anywhere near Showtime. The people backing Bivol are the same as Povetkin. After the lawsuits from the Povetkin/Wilder stuff, I dont see it happening

I did not know that. But I did not think Showtime was a part of that lawsuit? I thought it was all Wilder to recoup some of his promised purse, so Showtime was a part of it, but it was Wilder against Povetkin and Povetin's promotional team.

          Am I misrembering that?

These snakes in the West will stab you in the back at the first opportunity when it's going to be profitable, Bivol.

If hes going to sign to fight with Showtime he'll be dealing with the same people involved in the Wilder/Povetkin lawsuit. Maybe he does, I just don't see Ryabinsky doing a deal with them.
