I think there's a good possibility this will end up being kickboxing rules i.e punches + kicks above waist only, no knees, elbows or low kicks. Maybe 8oz boxing gloves.

My guess is they let the kid box in 4oz gloves Floyd carries him like McGregor makes it look somewhat competitive then stops him. Floyd would probably literally kill this kid if he hits him with 4oz gloves due to the size difference and counters he'd be landing at will. So my guess is he takes it easy on him.

Sucks were gonna get 1000 articles about this "fight" for the next 8 weeks or so but IH well. Idk about you all but I party on NYE so I'll probably miss this I'm sure I'll catch the highlights though
You should look him up and see his highlights, he KOd former IBF champ Amnat Ruenroeng with a body shot. Teiken promoter Mr. Honda has been trying to sign him to a boxing deal but I guess he's not allowed to compete in kickboxing in Japan if he signs the boxing deal. They want to make s big fight in Tokyo against the Monster Inoue

I'm only interested if this isn't boxing

This Japanese fella looks much smaller so I'm hoping that's a sign Floyd wants to try K1 or MMA. Highly sceptical though

Floyd is an excellent business man. He knows there are millions to be made in other countries just off the strength of his name. To make the same money in the states, he would have to get in the ring with one of these young lions at welterweight and junior welterweight. He’ Not trying to risk that.

I agree, but I was always told he would never fight outside Vegas and always use vada.

I think this is Floyd trying to become the Dana White of Rizn.
