smh, I hope this is not true

Why? I fail to see how this negatively effects anybody.

Mayweather is retired from being a professional boxer. No one is confusing this or his fight against McGregor as real boxing matches. They are entertainment events. This, like the McGregor fight, is borderline ridiculous. However, millions paid $100 to watch Floyd whoop on Connor, and obviously someone believes this entertainment event will also produce large profits for everyone involved.

I'm not going to watch it. I'm a boxing fan and am too poor to watch these types of events. It doesn't hurt me at all though. If you don't like, don't watch it.

Mayweather isn't about to come back and fight Spence or Canelo. This doesn't change that. If there are enough people who will pay to see this fight, then more power to them. I'm not going to hate on anyone for agreeing to anything that pays him tens of millions of dollars. It just doesn't affect me at all.
