    How good was Grigory Drozd?

Lets say around 2013-14 the version that battered Masternak and schooled Diablo.

How would he of fared against Usyk, Briedis, Dorticos, Bellew and the other top CWs?

I thought he was really good, was certainly the best CW in the world for a span there. Wanted to see him fight Lebedev and Huck, shame that never happened. I think he would have outclassed Dorticos and Bellew and edged Briedis in a close fight, Usyk probably out-boxes him

Drozd was on a real run before injury derailed his career, he’d have beaten Bellew comfortably, outboxed Dorticos, I’d maybe pick him to beat Briedis but 50/50 fight. I think Usyk would soundly outbox him though, he’s another level to the rest of CW’s.

Shame about his injuries. I always hoped he'd come back for his shot at Bellew after he was made champ in recess.

I actually felt he was a rare case of an improving older fighter prior to injuries.

Its a shame we never got to see him vs Yoan Pablo Hernandez another whose career ended prematurely through injury.

He still looked good at the age of 35 against Wlodarczyk, surprisingly, despite his age.

I'm certain Usyk would have beaten him, but then again, I rate Usyk highly and think he's the best cruiserweight we have seen since Holyfield. I think he would have outboxed Dorticos to a decision, easily beaten Bellew, but maybe might have lost against Gassiev, possible stoppage. He's a great boxer but I don't think he moves around enough to beat Gassiev.

Good shout, Hernandez was a good fighter. Talented yet vulnerable
