Look, I am not disparaging Berchelt who is definitely talented. But I think that Lomachenko - again, if his shoulder is really perfect after the surgery - would not be standing there to be caught with hard punches. He has a couple of gears more than Alacran, IMO.
But it would be a nice fight to watch, that's for sure.Last edited by Tatabanya; 11-05-2018, 06:28 AM.Comment

Davis stopped Pedraza, nice strap. But Berchelt beat Roman, Miura, Vargas. More experienced fighter.Comment

It's all good and dandy to talk about Davis being a class above or he is too much for Berchelt, but we still need the fight to happen. Davis very well could spark all the top guys out at 130, especially if he is focused and in good shape. But right now he just doesn't have the resume' for that type of respect. After Mares, he needs to fight either Farmer/Berchelt/Machado or even the winner of GRJ/LSC if they elect to move up.Comment

He was at his second pro fight, and almost knocked him out at the end notwithstanding several pro-Salido issues (no need to repeat them here).

Good point. Loma had his moments in that fight.Comment
