One thing that worries me is that Burnett landed a punch that seemed to bother Nonito a little bit and Burnett is not a puncher.
Nonito had an iron chin in his prime, so it's probably the weight cut and age.
Tete punches harder, but is very vulnerable. Imagine if Nonito pulls another upset.

Congratulations to Nonito Donaire for winning yet another Bantamweight title. I thought he looked pretty good in there. He showed some very good handspeed and a nice chin as he ate some very good shots from Ryan..

At the same time, my heart goes out to Ryan Burnett. He displayed a lot heart and courage as the bout was shaping up to being a very good fight until the injury.

Perhaps Burnett twitched or pull a muscle or something; Which is very rare in boxing. For being a very young guy, he needs to work harder on his exercising and conditioning because he's too young to suffer from arthritic pain.

Feel sorry for the kid he was doing well, but like I said it is probably a blessing in disguise- because I dont remember any recent Donaire fight where Nonito was landing so much, so solidly, so early.
