No truth to the rumor that Rakhimov used Avtandil Khurtsidze to "restructure" AIBA's financial situation.

"Rakhimov, previously interim president, courted controversy after being linked to organised crime by the US Treasury Department.

He has vigorously denied the allegations telling AFP in a recent interview that he had "never been involved in transnational criminal organisations or whatever has been said about me".

Wut in the f#ck? They can't find someone without any linkage to organised crime to run amateur boxing?!?!?! Wut the f#ck is going on in amateur boxing that a guy who might have criminal history on the international level is even in the running for this gig?!?!

LMFAO. Please just end boxing in the Olympics already. Might be the best thing for long time boxing to drive away some of the criminal element in amateur f#cking boxing.

I have to agree. The Olympics were always stacked for the home country. Mexican olympics, Mexican champions, just as an example. That last Olympics, where Nikitin kept winning bad decisions on foreign soil until his face couldn't take it any longer, is a new twist. I don't want to watch if that's where this is going.

I guaranteed that some organized criminal or mobs are into professional boxing. This is a never ending cycle.
For the look of it, this never going to end in the amateur boxing system.

Sometime, those organized criminals or mobs erase tracks that link to them. Maybe Avtandil Khurtsidze played a part in the "restructure" AIBA's financial situation or maybe not. Mobs operations are complicate.

I'm POSITIVE there are people involved in criminal sh^t in pro boxing, organized or nah. Its more hidden there & no one has THAT much power in pro boxing except the more legit entity's like HBO (formerly anyway), Showtime, ESPN & now DAZN. In amateur boxing its all out in the open doe it seems. That shouldn't be excepted. The criminal mfers running the Olympics shouldn't be accepted either.

All that sh^t is why I'm kinda against the whole concept of "amateur sports" any f#cking way. To me amateur sports don't really exist at a high level cuz people who don't get paid (in some way) to do a sport don't have enough time to get THAT good at a sport to compete at the Olympics anyway. A real amateur sports Olympics would happen on a Sunday when most mfers got the day off at the factory or McDonalds or w/e. Or it'd only be for people under 18 who live at home & have no real expenses...or are over 18, but their parents still take care of them.

That is the sad part and one of the reason I rarely watch amateur boxing now days. When I decide to watch a few fights, they turn me off because the fighter who was suppose to win, is in the final end of a fix bad decision.
