Your argument fails when we consider Lubin. Everybody on that PBC team was expecting Lubin to beat him behind the scenes. There was a lot of push behind that kid. You either weren't paying attention or you're willfully ignoring that.

The same goes for J-Rock with Mall. The twins were not supposed to beat either of those guys in the eyes of many in that camp.

The truth is that the Charlos made it to where there are despite the matchmaking. They weren't anybody's "guy."

Their internet work, KOs, and new talkative personalities have them getting love now. That's the truth.

Not sure if you saw, but I said the Lubin win was a good win... Problem is that fight was over a year ago.

If you think the Lubin win was good, then how would you value Mungia/Lara?

Charlo had two opportunities to make the Lara fight and instead he fought Trout and is getting ready to fight Harrison... I know you like Charlo, but how do you not see that this is wrong?

The dude won't even "try" to get the strap from Mungia or entertain Lara... If neither of those guys can get in the conversation, then what is Trout and Harrison doing in the conversation?

That was a money grab for GGG though lol up until the Canelo fight that was his highest pay day. And not to mention the ONLY reason people talked sh** about GGG over that fight was for the simple fact that GGG was clowning Canelo for fighting Amir Khan. Then GGG does the same thing a few months later lol

That doesn't make it different. Brook asked to fight ggg. GGG didn't ask for the fight. It is pretty much the same thing. Biggest difference is Garcia is more highly regarded than Brook was

Spence would love to fight Lightweight Garcia but when it comes to 154... he's way too small. Spence is going out GGG style - going to stay in one division forever and just accept being ducked in his division rather than moving up to take on any challenges. Most of Spence's attributes are tied to him being so much bigger. He's definitely not that hard to hit.

Jermell is actually the better Charlo too all around and his power is getting better. He'd school Spence to me because Spence's power wouldn't be a threat to Jermell at '54.

Spence never said this. He said he wants to unify at 147 then move up. If he beats Mikey, he becomes the money man at 147 and will force a fight with Thurman and/ or Porter. Spence said he wants to go all the way to 160.

Money bro. How much would you have to pay Lara or Mungia? They are 7 figure guys. Unlike Harrison and Trout at this stage. And Charlo really doesn't make much more fighting these guys then he does fighting Harrison and Trout. It's not like these fights are on high demand.

I remember guys use to tell me G couldn't fight Jacobs because of money. We see what happen there.

Point is is Charlo never tried. Never even attempted at negotiations. We don't know about money because there were never talks. I'm not either fighters managers and neither are you so we can't speak on that subject

To be fair it was Brook that was calling out Golovkin, and Golovkin only took it because the Eubank fight fell through, so not so different from the Spence situation, and not really like the Khan one, which was Canelo's first choice and not a substitute. Still wasn't a good fight or a good look for Golovkin after calling Canelo though.

They have them on schedule for a Spring clash. Hurd requested a fight off of his injury against a right hander, then the Charlo fight.

I'm just wondering how Jermell Charlo is being protected. I don't recall him relinquishing any belts or dodging any fights. They told him to fight Lubin and he sparked him. They even had the press hyping Lubin (he was pushed as prospect of the year by ESPN) and the PBC team had Camera crews following the kid during fight week.

Andrade vacated when mandated to fight him too.

It gave him a decent purse but about 3 weeks to get ready. He signed to fight Charlo in the next month, January, but Charlo declined and fought Vanes M. instead.
