If he doesn’t sign with Goldenboy then they shouldn’t showcase him on Canelo’s co feature position.. that slot should go to Ryan Garcia.

If Mungia is leaving simply have him headline his own card in January and wash your hands of him, simple as that.

I wonder which way this kid's career will go. He wants to stay with Golden Boy move up and fight Canelo, Daniel Jacobs, Boo Boo Andrade, Golovkin, and David Lemuiex

But his other promoter Beltran wants him to sign to Top Rank and fight some Japanese guy.

              Let's see what happens.

I am reading these comments, and I can't help but wonder....

When did freaking Jaime Munguia become controversial??? The kid just got a cup of coffee with his belt. He is an active exciting fighter, so I do not get the criticism. But he also has not stepped up to the cream of the crop at 154, so he is not a headliner yet either. He is a talented but untested fighter. I am interested in what is next. Which, by the way, this article says zero about.
