That's why I won't be surprised if we see Gervonta fighting at 140 soon. Definitely 135 after Mares (please no). Find someone who is a little more challenge and your own size. Maybe Farmer or Machado?

With his dimensions, he should be fighting at 122-130.

No problem with this match up at all, just one match to eventually something BIGGER! Expecting these guys to be extremely busy in 2019 finally. Minimum 3 Fights a year and that still probably won't be enough to fill all those dates on Fox and Showtime. You're going to get Big Fights and some fights will be Soft Touches leading into something bigger. I don't consider Mares a Soft Touch AT ALL even at 130!

People also forget how Gervonta beat pedraza to a pulp at 21 years old for a world title but are so quick to heap praise on Lomachenko and how everyone is ducking him. Loma is fighting pedraza in December! And it’s not even a fair comparison loma was in the amateurs for so many years and it could be argued hid from the pro game until now. Also in his first fight he got beat by salido? I’m pretty sure Gervonta would smash him too. Always hating on this kid for one year of inactivity cause of legal issues, wait till 2019 the American public will love him.

That fight was for the 126 pound title. Mares has never fought at 130 ever.

Seriously? How do you see it going? This is unnecessary and ******. Abner Mares needs to get a good medical.

                  Fuck this fight. Sorry bro.

Please fight Salido at 135 as a tune up!

Can't base everything on that stuff. Like the KO here. Mares went on to achieve a lot. This fight sucks.

No, my brother, it was Loma's second fight.

Salido was a beast (journeyman) champion those days. Loma is marvelous. They had poor planning and inexperience going into that fight I bet. They depended just on Loma's pure skills to win it, but it didn't.

I hope they are guiding him well now. I love Loma. His fanboys piss me off, tho. They always tell me I can't like both (Davis and Loma). That's bullshit.
