I think you can both be right. If it goes the distance, Fury has it by points. I think Wilder can only win by KO because Fury has far superior boxing skill.

I see it being a Wilder win, KO in 5th but I would love all of the belts to be in the UK but I would also love to see Wilder v Joshua. Settle that argument once and for all.

Some idiots argue technique.. like Fury's a boxing god.. man pleasy this goofy uncoordinated big friendly giant looking ass has a ****** shortbus style.. I recognize that style anywhere, all he needs is a helmet. Fury looks and fights like a bald hagrid from harrypotter. Lol.

Wilder will fight smart. He will force Fury to come to him. He knows Fury does not have a ton of power and has fought zero good fighters in three years. Klitschtko was still good, I do not mean to crap on Fury's best win, but Klitshchko gave one of his worst performances in a horrid fight. I think as we get closer to this thing and people listen to Fury talk they try to talk themselves into thinking Fury is flirting with all time greatness or something.

Wilder wins. He may win ugly, as both Wilder and Fury tend to make fights turn out that way. Fury may be in his best shape in years. Who knows, maybe even Fury wins some early rounds. But Wilder will beat Fury, and do it leaving no doubt with a motivated and dominating performance with a ton at stake.
There is no scenario where Wilder dominates Fury.... he might land his right and windmill him, but there's no way he dominates him.

Not going to happen, Wilder can't box and dominate any one, never mind Fury.

There are levels to this. Wilder doesn't know if he can operate at this level but sure hopes and believes he can.
Fury knows he has been able to in past and hopes he still can.
But may not even need to as wilder might not be at the wla d levels

I don’t know what’s worse Fury not fighting anyone of note for 3 years or Wilder fighting one good fighter in 11 years?? It seems pretty even to me.
That.... is a decent enough point.

At least Wilder has been active and is in shape while fighting only one good fighter in 11 years??

            I guess?

By that I simply mean Wilder will move and be active, so Fury's "lean on opponent, jab and paw at what is there" style won't cut it. He will have to move and cut the ring down on a much more aggressive, chance taking opponent. I get that Wilder is not technically sound or any such thing, but if he can survive bombs from Ortiz without going down he will invite Fury in and force him to move. Wilder will force Fury to show he can hurt him, and will be dancing around him forcing him to try and catch him.

Wilder WILL force Fury to come to him. If Fury lasts until mid rounds, he will have to prove he has enough stamina and chin to go the distance. I think he is out of there by round 8, or at least gassed and in pure survival mode.

Side note: If Fury has more power than I think, he will be able to hurt Wilder and he has a legit shot to win this. I will own it if I am wrong.

Much like other posters... fair enough. I did say I thought Fury could win early rounds. But I just do not get why there is love for this guy. He is entertaining out of the ring, and I do think boxing is more interesting with Tyson Fury around. I just see a limited boxer he is smart enough to fight within those limitations. He is not quick. He is not powerful. He is not fleet footed. He has not even been in shape for his last two fights.

He is durable. He is tall, and fights that way. He knows where he is in the ring and shows intelligence to use the ropes and he does know how to lean and push his opponent into small spaces.

nice reference, but have you forgotten how shit scared Hulk really was? after getting owned by a "superior" fighter he retreated to his safe space and refused to fight again

I can’t wait to see how this plays out. I took off work for this fight. Hope wilder pulls it off with the . But at the same u can’t let fury get in his head. I hope he gas out like Ortiz did. Get the ko any way possible because if it goes to score card with all due respect there will be a new wbc champ and Id hate for it to go that way with heavyweights. Hell I hate when any heavyweight fight goes to a decision.

Fury will outbox him without a doubt. If it goes 12 Fury will win. But Wilder has a great chance of KOing Fury. Fury has underestimated power though and can win by KO.
