Whyte isn't the kind of character to duck, I think he had full intentions in fighting Ortiz if the chisora negotiations fell through - which looked to be the case.

all that is understood but why call him out? and then when he answers change the tune? its not a good look, it would have been better to just let things be as they were. Ortiz offered him to fight on Dec 1, whyte declined and said he must fight on dec 22 then Ortiz accepts and then hearn and whyte start talking about chisora. As a boxing fan I would love to see that fight over who makes who more money, I understand business but as a fan I just want to see the best fights... its simply just a better fight. No idea why Ortiz is fighting kaufman its a terrible fight.

Whyte has been fighting good competition. Who the **** has Ortiz actually beat to be so hyped? Wilder fans been hating on Whyte ever since Wilder ducked him.

Terrible duck but we all seen it coming.

All these fighters and AJ fans say he's old but nobody wants any part of him for good reason. Seriously high risk, low reward.

Wilder is the only one. None of these others have the balls to fight Ortiz.
Miller, Whyte etc just guys who talk **** and take the path of least resistance everytime just so AJ has a string of opponents lined up that aren't a real threat (Wilder, Fury, Ortiz).
Wilder was right about Hearn milking AJ. Its exactly that and true boxing fans suffer getting a load of **** in-house fights we don't care for.

Ortiz signed to fight Kauffman last week. What was Whyte supposed to do? Wait for him?

Hearn ain't dumb, he knows Ortiz ends the Whyte hype train so he wasn't about to let that happen. He's been mixing Whyte's name with A-level fighters before giving him a B-level opponent. Honestly I'm forever unimpressed with Dillian Whyte & I had him losing v Chisora first time round anyway. This is a fun fight, just don't try to sell it as something it ain't.
