I was thinking the same thing. Hurd gets a tune up cause not only is he coming off of an injury but his last two fights were of Lara and Trout

This is embarrassing. If Hurd needs a tuneup then it should be on cable tv. Why tf should we have to pay for tune up fights. I usually support all ppvs but I’m sorry I just can’t don’t do is one

he dan do I’m do that in the free view part of the card. Not the $80 ppv. It’s three tuneups and a main event.

me neither now if was being streamed as part of $10 a month subscription or on regular showtime I would tune in. Could have even had this open up Stevenson-Gvozdyk. Hurd opponent is barely British level lol.

3 Showbox type undercard fights (Comp wise) & a main event that will end before 3 rds with Wilder smashing Fury. (People are gonna be pissed)

I didn't realize it before but I don't blame people for being upset. It's not cause he's fighting Welborn, it's the disappointment that a tune up fight is being featured on a PPV undercard that's a whopping $80. It just doesn't make any sense

Whenever any fighter in history has wanted to straight up duck the other champs while playing lip service about being bout that life, they will just use injuries as excuses. The exception being when a fighter gets injured during the fight, but look at Kathy Thurman & his pathetic lying cowardis, straight up ducking.

There are soft touches and then there are soft touches. This is ridiculous match-making. Someone like Ishe or Vanes would've been perfectly adequate

Ishe is 40 and coming off two losses. He's probably retired now.

Vanes was basically retired before Golovkin and is likely still done now lol

They have names but doesn't mean they were options.
