    Britain's Jason Welborn (24-6, 7 KOs) gets the opportunity of a lifetime when he challenges Jarrett Hurd (22-0, 15 KOs) for the IBF and WBA Super Welterweight titles on December 1. The fight takes place on the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury undercard at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.

          WTF?! that's a bit left-field! I wondered why Welborn vacated his British title, looks like he's going to cash out over in the States. Honest pro, but has absolutely nothing to trouble Hurd.

                  Dude is coming off an injury. Of course he wont fight any top guys. But welborn is better than just some random bum.

                      Exactly. Not to mention this is an undercard fight. It's not like one of those Kell Brook main events lol

                      Dude is on the record with wanting Charlo next. Let him get the rust off.

                          Lomachenko is fighting Pedraza in a unification coming off an injury. Somehow people are still criticizing him though. I can understand why Hurd is fighting Welborn but to put this on a PPV undercard is just an insult to the fans.

                              Looks like all 3 will be fighting bums, Hurd, Ortiz and Joyce. Disappointing for PPV.

                                      Hurd wanted a soft touch coming off an injury he need to get some rounds in test his shoulder out.
