toney should have no trouble outclassing peters in the boxing department, but if peters gets rough on the inside and makes a real fight out of it toney could have some serious stamina problems.

now if toney actually gives a **** and comes in with good conditioning he'll been taking batting practice on peters.

i think toney should hire the dude that got hopkins in fighting shape for his with tarver. if toney has that dude whip him into shape he can take the heavyweight crown and run with it. but as of now, toney aint running ****, only running out of gas.

toney was so fat for his last fight i'm surprised that he didn't gas out after running his mouth.

i'm a toney fan and supporter but the dude is a fat ass bastard who needs to drop some weight to be taken completely serious.

if i was peters and he came in fat as **** against me, i would lay all over him and push him around, i wouldn't even try and fight for the 1st 4 rounds, i would just be bullying him around until he started huffing and puffing.

i'd say even though toney is fat he can beat peters easily, but his conditioning gives peters a bigger chance to win other than a punchers chance. where as if toney was in fighting shape i'd give peters a punchers chance at the very best, no more than a lucky shot.

Toney thinks he will outbox the crude Nigerian ****er; but I predict he's going to the well once too often. Toney is far more skilled than Peter will ever be; but he's also shown he doesn't feel the need to come in in top form anymore. I pick the Hungry Young Man over the Old Fat Man in this one. Toney will be stopped....literally, probably from a body shot, or at least a combination that starts with a body shot. It's Lights Out for Toney this time.

I agree that its going to be a close fight. peter is getting too bad a rap on his stamina. he did tire down the stretch against wlad,,,but he was for the first time fighting a guy near his size and strength level and had to deal with a punishing left jab all night and was getting frustratingly tied up on the inside. he never tired in his other 3 distance fights and toney doesnt have the power to pressure him and wear him down like wlad did. still its a good styles match for toney as he does well against guys that throw long wild punches,,,but the strength factor could cancel this and peter isnt as slow as many other posters think he is. if toney looks like he did against rahman Id favor peter,,,,if toney is able to get in good shape and fights as he did against holyfield I think he wins a decision. as of now I think its a very close match with a very slight leaning towrd toney
