Eddie Hearn was lining Ortiz up for Joshua and gave him two fights on matchroom cards to make a statement to the british fans, but both times Ortiz looked disinterested and even his KO win was a bit of a stinker .. then he failed a drug test again which resulted in the WBA (I think) removing him from their rankings .. so when he was offered a shot at Deontay Wilder he jumped ship.

Now "fans" are insisting AJ ducked him .. it's disgusting revisionist history

Forget any claims of ducking him. Why not fight him now? Why didn't Whyte fight him now after he called him out? Ortiz called his bluff, then Whyte shut up. That win would have put Ortiz in line with AJ. Ortiz is a top 5 heavyweight, and it would be a good comparison to help build a fight with Wilder...unless its too much of a risk.

Who TF wants to watch AJ vs Whyte again? Any other fight besides Ortiz right now, until Wilder or Fury is free is crap.

British Bob wants to keep in house fights.

They saw those boring ass performances and then fed him a 39 year old PED abuser and thought that the ship was righted lmao..

If I were Joshua I wouldn't be following Tyson outside for a straightner.

Partly because it's a ****** move for someone who is doing so well and has so much more to lose than Fury.

Why endanger lucrative contracts worth millions, or risk injury or imprisonment and the massive loss of earnings that would entail?

It's the definition of no win. If he did follow him and beat him into next week he'd be lambasted for being a professional boxer battering an obese man.
