15/20 lbs is not a lot for a 200 lb + guy with Usyk's body build. I read that his team already have a diet and excercise plan worked out for him, and are going to build him up gradually.
I don't think the plan is for him to jump straight up to 230, or whatever, and in with AJ for his fight at HW.
Don't underestimate how hard some CWs can wack. They are only slightly smaller than Wilder, after all. Huck was able to hurt and stagger Povetkin at HW. Usyk charged through his punches like they were nothing.
Breidis layed Manuel Char out cold with one clean uppercut. He landed the same punch on Usyk multiple times, without any effect.
AJ has the size and power to KO Usyk if he lands anything clean, no doubt about that. But AJ can KO anybody in the HW division if he lands clean, so Usyk moving up from CW isn't really a factor there.
