I really like both Mikey and Spence, but because of Mikey's desire to fight the best, I would like him to succeed but it's gonna be tough. I think Spence beats him but i'd like to be wrong. They're equally good but Spence is bigger, it's gonna come down to their size basically and Spence has that over him.

I'm not bad mouthing Pac. I love him as much as anybody. However, like all of us in general and boxers in particular our bodies change. For example: His skills set have diminished and are on the decline. I know it's hard and painful for many boxing fans to accept but no athlete remains forever young. In addition, Mayweather is not the same fighter he was 10 or 15 years ago either.

Just imagine a fighter like Mikey Garcia who is just entering into his prime as Pac has already exited his. So is it too far-fetched for a reasonable people to believe that we cannot expect the same exact version of Manny Pacquiao who was once a young lighting quick and super fast power punching machine to be the same fighter? I don't think so.
In addition, one must understand that this is the shopworn version Pac who will turn 40 years old soon, with just over 70 fights under his belt. He is attempting to defeat a man who is nearly a decade younger than himself; Who has probably the better stamina, hand to eye coordination and reflexes of the two, due to youth as well.

Like I said on another thread Manny will have to walk through fire again to get a fight with Mayweather. After Broner and Mikey he will likely have to face Thurman too. Floyd likes his meat tenderized first before getting in the ring with them.

Mikey look like pudge at 140. He'll look worse at 147.
I think Pac would lose interest fighting Mikey if the latter lose to Spence.
If Mikey somehow wins over Spence, he has the edge over Pacquiao.
When Mikey lose to Spence, Pacquiao vs Mikey will never happen. Pacquiao's next fight would either be Thurman or Porter (Haymon would squeeze whatever's left from Pacquiao to make money; considering it's only a 2-fight deal)

Just because I'm a fan don't mean I won't call some of my favorite fighters out on their BS! Top Rank are making both of these guys look like they're Afraid to fight Crawford and Loma IMO
Just a Unnecessary Fight at the moment, something that could be bigger in a year maybe even 2 AFTER Mikey has moved up and had maybe 1 or 2 Fights at 147 before jumping in with Spence JrLast edited by sicko; 10-31-2018, 04:39 PM.
