Nobody knew who Derevyanchenko was & Jacobs ain't been promoted right since the GGG fight so the ratings ain't too surprising.

I don't understand the hate DAZN is getting, it's so cheap you'd be dumb not to have it if you're a boxing fan. At the moment I'd say it's a good service with the potential to get great - signing Canelo shows they ain't playing. Streaming is the future, for real.

The only thing good so far has been a few WBSS fights that Hearn has nothing to do with matchmaking wise, Hearn's 2 cards and the upcoming one have been garbage. I could careless about old fights that I have already seen and know the outcome.

I agree. The rest of the sports are trash. I already watched all the boxing there is to see, only waiting for the next round of matches to resume my boxing fix.

Yea I thought about it, but there were some match replays I thought were interesting, and since I'm a huge baller (sarcasm) I figured 10 bucks was nothing, and worth the replays + Andrade/Katie Taylor fight.

when GoT finishes next year, HBO could lose a lot more subscribers unfortunately

I dont have a problem with DAZN as long as Hearn isn't negotiating the fights. He'd lowball everyone not signed with him.

What??? In the 80's and 90's they did that. But these basketball and baseball players today have known each other since they were kids playing on the same travel team and AAU teams. These players are best friends now a days.

Why would you want to see a niche sport on a niche app if you're an American boxing fan and you want to see the sport grow?

For the WBSS fights and the Matchroom UK fights DAZN is great. But it's not great for boxing in America.

DAZN isn't keeping all those subscribers which means DAZN isn't really making that much money of the subscriptions for Canelo's December fight. Hearn tried to do the same thing with the AJ fight, a lot of ppl subscribed and got it free but how many of those subscribers did DAZN keep? Did DAZN even make money so far? Maybe that's the reason they offered Canelo all that money, because Hearn wasn't getting it done like he promised. I subscribed and cancelled so they didn't get a penny from me, DAZNs fights were garbage, no incentive to stay until a big fight is made and I'll subscribe and cancel again.
Its the same with Game of Thrones fanbase and HBO. HBO subs skyrocket when GoT comes on, and lasts throughout the season, then they leave. As long as HBO has something from the GoT universe on there every year, they'll always get that boost in subs that time of the year.

Maybe what DAZN has to do is, aside from putting on boxing matches all year, also make a 4-5 month long seasonal program where the best fighters face eachother. DAZN has to establish that this 4-month span is the absolute best time to sub because there are back to back to back to back (etc.) great, can't miss, fights for a span of 4-5 months. Give the season a title/name for marketing reasons e.g. DAZN Fight Season. Promote it as something that comes every year without fail.
