Does Donaire have a shot to win?

Seeing he is a +700 underdog on bovada. Anyone think he has a shot to beat Burnett?

I know Donaire is kinda washed but all his losses are to world level guys and I dont know one dude who Burnett has beaten and it seems he doesn't have power based off his KO percentage at least.

What's the call? Put $100 down or pass?

if donaire is having trouble coming down two weight classes.. which the rumour is he is, then a young, booth-trained boxer like burnett whos comfortable at the weight has a good chance of outboxing him.

i'd say yo should watch a burnett fight on YT. his fight against zhakiyanov was very good on the eye

I think for sure he has a shot, better than the odds say at least. The big question is at 35 can he move down without weakening himself. Probably not. But that might not show until the second half of the fight and in the first 6 if Donaire still has one punch KO power at the weight all he needs is one left hook to find a home.

He's a bigger betting underdog than Bellew is vs Usyk, to me Donaire has a much better chance of pulling off the upset.

Donaire has a chance at 118. As mentioned above, he's only lost to World Championship level talent. At 122, not so much, but at 118, he's still a force and should be given a chance against anyone except Zolani or Naoya.

Donaire was an absolutely devastating puncher at the lower classes. Even hurt Walters. He developed a better right hand as time went but the guys were bigger. If I *knew* that wasnt terribly weakened by the cut, I’d put down money all day. I’ve always been a bit of a Nonito nut hugger though... which is an easier pill to swallow if you lose money

Donaire's problem is he cant pull the trigger often or at the right time at his age. And against movers, he has no answers at all.

Donaire is ancient, but he has better than a 12% chance of winning (which is what +700 odds would be suggesting) I feel like. Might be a 80/20, 70/30 fight Burnett's way so definitely value there.

Following the 5% max bankroll rule I'd still only go 1% on it doe cuz Burnett is a solid enough bet to win even if its not quite THAT wide.

Donaire cant pull the trigger at this stage of his career. That was the case against Frampton. Did not punch enough to get respect from his opponents.
