This is no different than when Lara/Charlos were using being close as an excuse. Thats weak when 168 is out of the question already for Jacobs/Boo & Canelo has the other 2 belts & won't fight anyone important til May. Its almost as if the narrative is already written that EVERYONE will wait it out to see if daddy ginger will break em off something. And here I was thinking that Jacobs would be coming for ALL the belts. Shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.

Both fighters have been winning on points lately anyway, so I see it being more of a chess match than a brawl. With that being the case I see no reason why the fight can't be made, surely they've sparred hundreds of rounds against each other over the years. Back when I boxed, I got on with pretty much everyone in my gym and we took lumps out of each other in sparring then went to the bar together afterwards to discuss techniques - plus in the military people get posted all the time so at any point you could be facing a former gym-mate in an inter-station bout.

Exacttly my point! Boxing is a business and they're personal feelings towards each other shouldn't matter.
They can always remain friends after they fight each other.
If they aren't brothers or blood relatives then they should definitely be fighting each other!
They say they will if the money is right but I can already tell the fight between them will never happen.
