Only problem with Loma fight is that Loma is with Top Rank and Mickey has a bad relationship with top rank, Bob arum will Never give Mickey a fair deal to fight Loma and that is pretty well known in the boxing community!!

Bob Arum is the one to blame for the Loma fight not happening.

You are just repeating some lazy trope. If both fighters want it it can happen. If Loma says in the ring after he whips Pedraza (and it would have been better if he'd said it after his last fight) "I want Mikey next. I'll do 50-50 with Mikey and Mr. Arum is not going to stop this legacy fight happening" - if he said that there is NO way the fight Arum could stop the fight happening.

Does anyone remember how much Mikey weighed when he fought Lipinets cause he seemed kind of slow and looked somewhat pudgy. If that was Mikey at 140 and he moves up to 147 to fight Spence, I'm not sure Mikey is going to be comfortable at that weight class. That could be detrimental to his body.

In absence of a Spence vs Thurman/Porter bout, a match up against Garcia is intriguing! BOLD move from Mikey. Of course we would like to see each against guys in their own way div but those just aren't available or happening For whatever got dam ****** reason! Lol But Loma and Crawford is with TR. As in Arum... C'mon now lol. No excuse for PorterThurman not taking the Spence fight though.

Mikey has a legit chance for the W IMO, both are top notch fighters though. Only knock on Spence is that his opposition hasn't been consistently solid as Garcia's. Spence proved his pedigree against Brook though but Mikey has been groomed for years.

That may be so but Garcia's not big enough to exploit those weaknesses right now. Mikey should heed Robert's advice before he ruins his promising career.

Box Him! I think he can be out boxed...for about 4-5 Rounds until the body punches starts to take his time and your body Light Switch cuts off and your legs are gone and then all of a sudden you're taking more and more punches that you was able avoid in Rounds 1-4 but in round 6 and On you're not as quick as you was. Kinda what happened to Kell Brook and it was exactly ROUND 6 where the "Leak Spring" and the fight turned after that after a great start


I think Crawford could potentially out-box Spence Jr for 12 but for Mikey, it is going to be very tough. Salido Physicality gave him problems and despite being dropped 4 Times, Salido was coming on very strong in that 7th and 8th round before it went the cards early. Mikey has NOTHING to lose and a lot of MONEY to Gain in this one. If he can make it to the Cards that is a huge Moral Victory and I think he can at the very least make it to the Cards. I think he will win Rounds early for sure!

I hope they did their homework though because Spence Jr is not as slow or as Flat Footed as they Think, he can cut the ring off and he is going to come after him. Mikey keeping him off is going to be VERY DIFFICULT!

I love Mikey Garcia lol but daym , hes smart though and durable at his natural weight, if he pulls this off tho ... I just hope he doesn't get a career shortening beating, Mikey wasn't even a proper strong 140lb imo when he fought Broner

Mikey has respectable power. And if Spence came in reckless he could get hurt BUT I don't think that's what Garcia is relying on because Spence don't fight that way. He uses his range very well to throw solid punches.

1 thing Mikey has befuddled his last opponents with was his footwork/rhythm and its hard to time. I think he is relying on that to stay inside of Spences range and take away Spences game. Mikey will need to stick to a very very very tight game plan but it could work. RGBA has some big WW's in their stable right now, some thicker and taller than Spence. This also gives Mikey that confidence people are questioning.

Just like how ppl say GGG looks like nothing special. Spence may seem to have weaknesses until you have to expose them. And Spence ain't 34 and Mikey ain't as big as Canelo
