When I've heard Robert talk about this fight he doesn't come across quite as confident as he usually does. He knows this fight is a big risk & Mikey is probably a bigger dog to win then he'd like to see.

Don't mean Mikey can't win or that Spence doesn't have some achilles heel weakness no one has exposed yet, but it does feel like a reason why Robert might not wanna see this fight go down.

This fight is nothing a real boxing fan should support or want to see.

Mikey is a 135 fighter. Spence is a 147 fighter, and he has already admitted he is a big welterweight. Mikey is going to be outweighed by around 15 pounds.

There is no chance for Mikey. We all know he loses. We want to see him against Lomachenko, in a fight against someone more close to his size. Mikey never even had the fight made with Linares, which was the fight many of us were clamoring on about for a bit (yet Lomachenko got the fight made easily enough, to many of our surprise).

Yeah Spence is definitely a 154 lber who could make 160 easy also.

I think Mikeys best weight and power cap is 135 elite 140 good...

Loma is no.1 or no.2 P4P in the world and you are at the same weight. Beat him and you are P4P no.1. It's such an obvious fight to make and it can be made but you don't want it.

Lose to Loma and you are 2nd rate and you get lots of derision.

Lose to Spence and it's "ya know what? ... he was just too big for me" and you get lots of sympathy

Only problem with Loma fight is that Loma is with Top Rank and Mickey has a bad relationship with top rank, Bob arum will Never give Mickey a fair deal to fight Loma and that is pretty well known in the boxing community!!

Bob Arum is the one to blame for the Loma fight not happening.

You hit the nail on the head. If he liked challenges so much he would fight Loma. After Spence, he will probably say he can't make 135 anymore, or if he does and loses to Loma, he cut too much weight.

Correction* Spence's biggest victory was swelling Mayweathers eye sparring and getting a shout out from Floyd after. That's when the nuthugging began.
