Wilder accepted terms and then Hearn refused to do the fight next. Haymon didn't stop anything. The fight didn't happen because the time wasn't right for Hearn. Has to be the right time for both sides to get a fight done. All Tim said is that when it's the right time, Haymon will get it done. Haymon couldn't get it done for 2018 because it wasn't the right time for Hearn.

The fight would have been made if Wilders team signed the contract, they knew the WBO was knocking on that door for weeks, Povetkins team obviously has influence and power and they were waiting for the mandatory spot. When it was revealed that Wilders team didnt want to sign the contract for the fight they supposedly agreed to, they said, we give you a deadline and Wilders team still didnt deliver so they mandated Joshua vs Povetkin.

Now Haymon/Finkel dont even want to discuss the fight for next year, they got a 2 way rematch clause with Fury and will probably do a 2nd fight in April and keep fooling and manipulating everyone else, including you.

I don't know man. It seems to me that he is simply saying Haymon will get the fight done when the time is right...and the time is obviously not right because they aren't thrilled with Hearn's offers and actions. Once his offers improve, the time will be right for the fight to be made.


I think that's the only way this can be interpreted. I mean, it's not like Al Haymon can magically force AJ's team to accept what he considers fair. It's certainly not a one sided affair.
