This fight will allow Mikey to use all the skills that he hasn't needed to use in other Fights. Mikey Garcia's Ring IQ is among the best in the world this will be a huge task, but I am backing Mikey for the upset.

Well.... there is the problem for Mikey. Spence knows how to use his skills. It doesn't really matters thou, because the minute Mikey step foot inside that ring with Spence, he (Mikey), has all my respects.. win or lose!!

a great little guy beats a good big guy any day..

mikey has proven he is special and has a resume to back it up..

spence resume is weak and its hilarious this would be the best fighter he has faced all the while being a champion.

I hate hate this fight for Mikey. And foolish to compare it to Manny fighting Oscar. Yes Manny jumped up 2 weights but Oscar was already old already faded and had to come down to 147 for the first time in a decade. Spence is in his prime at his best weight not sacrificing weight and he is actually the younger fresher fighter then Mikey.

Manny didnt fight a prime 147lb Oscar who was still a p4p ranked fighter he ended up fighting a zombie ghost of Oscar. Roach said before the fight he would not of taken this fight against a prime Oscar but that he took it because Oscar can't pull the trigger any more. And then famously said when he saw the shape Oscar was in after the weigh-in he knew Manny would dominate speaking to how little Oscar had left after making 147.

in that matchup, I can't see it.....

Spence will either be too much for Garcia, and the fight will end early..... or Spence will not be too much for Garcia, in which case he will get handled

if Mikey is knocked down multiple times, Spence will finish him..... and if Spence cannot make much of an impact on Garcia, it will be because Mikey is outboxing him and has enough power to keep him honest

                just my 2c

What’s also interesting about this fight is how Mikey has never really used a whole lot of movement in the ring. Don’t ever really recall him boxing on his back foot or “Boxing” at all really. Especially if we’re defining boxing as dealing with a lot of footwork.

Rather, Mikey deals with establishing his power early in order to make his opponent tentative. Once he get his opponents respect, he then dictates the fight with his timing and counterpunching.

Don’t think Mikey can change his stripes over night and become some slick boxer he’s never been before. Therefore, slugging it out with Spence using counter punching doesn’t bode well for Mikey.

.....and even if his chin holds up, will his orbital bones and skull do the same ?

I knew Aids patient De La Hoya was in trouble the moment I saw him come out . He looked like he belonged in a Hospital Bed not boxing ring.

The hype machine pushing the agenda that mikey is great but he just a very good boxer who was scared to go to the body against a b- level fighter in Easter....what you think he gonna do against much bigger Spence?
