I dont think thats the case at all an bigger fighter doesnt always beat an smaller fighter moving up, its all about the skills which they both have broner was way faster and easter was 6 ft. Height, reach, power or speed means nothing if you dont know how to use them properly.

Its a 50/50 fight to me

I totally agree! Make It Happen! Mikey can go back to 140lbs. and fight Prograis, Baranchyk, or Relikh when the WBSS is over, or he can fight Linares @ 140! I applaud his ambition!

It's not a 50/50 fight, but I would say more like 60/40 in Spence's favor. Mikey will definitely compete well, but will be broken down and stopped late.

Got to hand it to Mikey, IF the fight happens.

but Spence is a beast, Mikey would need a real tight gameplan and he would need to deal with some thunder

Not necessarily. If Spence unlocks a weakness of Mikey, and has him near a KO, he may go into survival mode. We may also see another layer of Spence in pure boxing skills due to Garcias technical ability. Or Garcia goes the distance but loses due to multiple knockdowns.

50/50 fight? in which universe? i give mikey no chance. all the little guys that beat bigger guys are dynamic, fast, unorthodox, defensive wiz or a mixture of these traits. MIKEY IS NONE!!!!! he is a basic slow 4 punch fighter that does none of these things exceptionally well. if it happens he gets his ass whoop, WHOOP. Not a chance not even a punchers chance.

i've been shiieting on mikey lately.. so win or lose, if he takes this fight, imma give him some resppect for it!

moving up in weight is nothing new but at least he's daring to be great. only thing i see here is, when pac moved up, pac had the speed and arkwarkness.

when floyd moved up, floyd had superior defensive. mikey is just average. he just does everything right but it's not something special or crazy.

mikey is not bringing anything to the table that spence hasnt seen yet. this is why i think mikey's run at 147 will not be as successsful.
