I still say Japan with Floyd's comeback fight IF it happens. Dec. 31 is a big date in Japan. And Floyd actually hijacked Mexican boxing holidays so might as well hijack Japanes boxing holidays.
Personally I thought Khabib was playing around with his remark that made this a story. And I highly highly highly doubt a guy who won't go into a MMA fight at less than like 95% (dude is the king of dropping out of fights) would think he has a chance in hell in a boxing match vs one of the best fighters of the last era of boxing. Although in fairness I wouldn't put it past him to want the money.
But again the problem with Floyd vs Khabib beyond the obvious things people have talked about is you can't trust Khabib to show up for the fight. This cat has fallen out of 5 or 6 major events. And he almost died 18 or so months ago trying to get down to 155. What weight do you think Floyd is gonna fight him at?
LMFAO. But yea I think you are more or less right. And if it were to happen now or at some point its a money grab, but its too problematic & unsellable I believe. Like Floyd would have to quadruple up on his own bs cuz Khabib can't sell a fight with his mumbling broken English & his lack of a standup game vs a world class, even if old, fighter.
If anything I'd bet this "big" announcement is a fight for the newly created 165lb UFC belt vs the newly acquired Ben Askren.
Like I said, I think Khabib thinks he can beat anyone and its NOT about the money.

The dude lives with his parents and wife and kids in a hut. So Floyd seeing he could make a cash grab and make 90% I think he would grab it. Why not? Easy money.
