The mcgregor fight was interesting because it was the 1st of its kind plus mcgregor was more of a stand up fighter.

I don't think Khabib could fight Mayweather without the consent of the UFC.

Its debatable if UFC contracts are legal or not. But IF Khabib was going to fight without the UFC's consent he'd need to take it to court first & prove that UFC contracts are illegal.

There are cats who've broken contracts or been banned that have fought in other countries before I believe, but I don't believe Dubai was one of those countries. Believe they are usually Russia or ex-Soviet countries.
