Danny isnt the best for scoring hes own fights. You didnt just lose a couple of middle rounds, you looked like you were being put through the grinder at the end.
Jacobs pretty much gave away the last 3 rounds, plus got rocked in a couple of the middle rounds. For me, 7-5 plus the KD in favour of Jacobs, but he could and should have been out of sight. Something Jacobs needs to keep in mind; the fight aint over until the ref calls time, true in any sport but perhaps more so in boxing.
The judges got it exactly right. I had you winning 114-113. You gave away alot of the late rounds Jacobs. And I won't forget how horrible you are with scoring a fight, you had AB winning over Mikey lmao
NEW YORK Daniel Jacobs was surprised when he heard one of the judges scored their fight for Sergiy Derevyanchenko. Jacobs knows he lost some rounds, but the new IBF middleweight champion is confident he clearly defeated Derevyanchenko in their 12-round, 160 title fight Saturday night in The Theater at Madison Square Garden. Two judges, Tom Schreck and Steve Weisfeld, scored their consistently competitive fight 115-112 for Jacobs, who lost 114-113 on the scorecard of judge Julie Lederman. [Click Here To Read More]
Wait until you fight Canelo. You will wonder whether judges were actually ringside watching the fight or they came in with prefilled score cArds. Also women should just not be on any panel judging men. There is no single competent femalet judge. Enough with nonsense.
i was ringside and im a huge jacobs supporter. I did not score the fight as i was just there to simply enjoy the action.. To me it looked like sd was the ring aggresor, it looked like he was stalking danny the entire night.. HOWEVER danny was landing the more cleaner harder shots throughout. i can easily see 7-5 for jacobs plus with the first round being 10-8. It looked like it was a close competitive fight and i wasnt sure how the judges would score it but i did know it would be close and a robbery if danny lost on the cards. i didnt have a problem with two cards the female card was off
Jacobs makes a great point. These days it's very hard to know how a judge is going to score a fight. Two judges favored his defense and clean punches landed. One favored his opponents aggression. It should be the same across the board.
In my view, aggression without landed punches and ring generalship means nothing.
