  • Comments Thread For: Jacobs: This Fight Wasn't That Close; Don't Know What Judges Want

NEW YORK Daniel Jacobs was surprised when he heard one of the judges scored their fight for Sergiy Derevyanchenko. Jacobs knows he lost some rounds, but the new IBF middleweight champion is confident he clearly defeated Derevyanchenko in their 12-round, 160 title fight Saturday night in The Theater at Madison Square Garden. Two judges, Tom Schreck and Steve Weisfeld, scored their consistently competitive fight 115-112 for Jacobs, who lost 114-113 on the scorecard of judge Julie Lederman.

6-6 if you are generous and feel bad for the foreign guy who is an underdog.

            8-4 is about right, 7-5 is alright/fine.

How anyone could have any other type of scorecard is ridiculous.

The judges got it exactly right. I had you winning 114-113. You gave away alot of the late rounds Jacobs. And I won't forget how horrible you are with scoring a fight, you had AB winning over Mikey lmao

116-111 or 115-112. No way Derevyanchenko should win on any card.
