That's a fan friendly fight. I would love to see that fight. However, Jacobs is going to have to do much more than what he did against Sergei Derevyanchenko. I know he has the ability and the punching power to knock Saul Alvarez out.

Would be a good fight until Jacobs decided to become negative & that switching southpaw thing wont work Vs. "Canelo". Make it happen in May. Put GEE vs. Mall Charlo or Saunders on the undercard. Winners fight in Sept.

Jacobs is a one dimensional fighter with lots of flaws. I noticed that he throws wild punches with his chin up in the air. He tries to use his size to bully. If he can’t, then he’ll try to clinch. He does unnecessary excessive movement. The list goes on. What he did to Sergiy wouldn’t work on Canelo. Canelo would counter the hell out of him and slow him down with brutal body shots. His defense is also great so he’d slip and block most of what Jacobs throws. I can see Canelo winning convincingly.

Canelo hasn't ducked many fighters in his career and if the fans demand it, then I am pretty sure that Canelo would be more than happy to deliver it. If not on Cinco De Mayo of 2019 then at least on Mexican Independence Day of 2019.

Both guys are under the same network, DAZN. Will be easy to make. Jacobs was given a contract offer from Golden boy to fight Canelo in Sept, they were the backup plan if GGG refused to fight. This fight will definitely happen at some point maybe as soon as may 2019.

I like this fight at 160 or 168, SO LONG AS CANELO IS STRIPPED BY THE WBC! Charlo has been waiting patiently! GGG don't want that smoke! So if Canelo will fight Jacobs after Fielding on DAZN, he should do it without the WBC title!

If Canelo fights Jacobs they won't strip him they always allow unifications to Trump mandatories let alone allow a ton of exceptions for big fights.
