I don't know, man. Loma's a credit to boxing in just about every way. I think his fans outnumber his haters without question.

He seems like a fighter you can't hate. Fights well, doesn't talk ****, and fights for legacy.

Hes European/Caucasian with blonde hair and blue eyes, so him now being the face of boxing rubs a certain group the wrong way. Also it completely counters and dispels the myth/agenda that the media likes to push against european/caucasian athletes.

For any thinking person, the whole 'irritating fans' line is either a lie, or an act of self deception.

it is his fans. I have a good friend of mine who is ukranian. Holy **** you would think loma could take Floyd and pac at 130 on the same night the way he talks about loma. I personally like watching him but deep down I want to see him to lose to mikey just so my buddy can just chill for a minute with the loma is the best talk. I’m a fan of Loma but there’s 2 things you can critique to reason your hatred

His fans annoy the f.uck out you . I guilty of this not Loma but certain fighters fanbase make me cheer against them

He can come across as arrogant in certain interviews & during fights. He’ll openly mock opponents. Doesn’t Bother me but I’ve seen people post here saying that the reason they don’t like certain fighters ( Suprise , Suprise those fighters are usually Black)

Every interview now, he says he is a super small lightweight and will require hand picked opponents who arent too hard at 135 and predicts he will "grow into" light weight after Mikey Garcia moves up.
