As you say, time is on his side, but I agree, his fitness and conditioning looked really poor tonight.
Another UK hype job exposed by under sized, weak old pulev.

Lol... he wouldn't even be able to reach wilder's chin even if he was standing right under it. Hughies slow as molasses right hand was landing. What u think wilders must dangerous right hand in the division would do?

          Thanks for the laugh

          • Hughie Fury was exposed badly

This was not the same Hughie Fury who fought Parker. Something was wrong with him. I don't know he over-trained, but his basics was amateurish in this fights. His conditioning and stamina was horrible. Pulev looked the young one in this fight. I liked for Hughie to win, nevertheless, the best man won and the decision was fair minus 115-113. Sometimes, I wonder If Pulev is too much for Dillian Whyte and Jarell Miller, no wonder they ducked him, apart the low purse peanuts.

Not sure there’s ever been much hype about Hughie, he’s boxing on Ch5, promoted by Hennessy... barely ever gets a mention to be honest.

Kept getting trapped in the corner with no answers..on the ropes like canelo but without the movement and counters. Not active enough also once again. And The corner advice that we did catch on the broadcast seemed weak and uninspiring. Obviously Hughie is responsible for his actions but Peter hasn't proven to have any great achievements other than Tyson who may just be one of a kind and Peter trains old school af with simple circuits I could come up with with my pe gcse
that's interesting 'cos there's a recent interview with Tyson where's he talking about why he chose Ben as his new trainer, and their methods, etc., and one big thing he mentioned was NOT OVERTRAINING... he said he'd rather be massively undertrained than even a tiny bit overtrained, can't find the video right now, someone posted it around here, a little 5min thing, Tyson was saying when you're overtrained it's like fighting underwater or something like this. two possible take aways: Tyson really is surrounding himself with 'Yes Men' now; or Peter tends to go a bit too hard in the gym sometimes (as we see from Hughie tonight - jesusf#ck, his punches had no spite in them at all, right from the getgo)

Be glad you didn't lose 45min out of your life watching this. It was absolute slop from both. Hughie looked like he has never been trained as a boxer before. Pulev looked like he had his hands full with a guy who was putting on a pub level performance. No way is Pulev going to be competitive with AJ at all. He's not as solid as he used to be.

                  Decision was absolutely fair.

Agree. Will be another AJ mismatch.

Hyped by who? Not by many outside of the Fury family circles. While we're at it, the Fury's are Gypsies and choose to be reconised as such instead of British. And most of the UK chooses not to identify Gypsies as British either.
