Poor fight

Legit lost fair and square

I don't recommend watching the fight. Fury's offense made the first 4 rounds competitive, but he gave away rounds 5-7 trying to land sloppy right hands on the back foot. Then, he stunned Pulev in the 8th round, but didn't capitalize on it. Finally, he was dominated by Pulev for the rest of the fight. The right man won, but one of the judges somehow gave Fury 5 rounds.

Be glad you didn't lose 45min out of your life watching this. It was absolute slop from both. Hughie looked like he has never been trained as a boxer before. Pulev looked like he had his hands full with a guy who was putting on a pub level performance. No way is Pulev going to be competitive with AJ at all. He's not as solid as he used to be.

Decision was absolutely fair.

they don't inow boxing , i remember denium,vinnykin,frankiebruno, they simply do not have any idea when it comes to judging the ability of a boxer...period next one will be the clumsy 6ft 9 BFG tyson to go by the wayside.

Exactly, I always cringe when they start talking about the "talent" Fury family members got. It's clear to me they both big clumsy guys and I do acknowledge Tyson skills but his cousin is a different story, he never showed nothing in his career but some people here without a clue will hype him. This forum is full of casuals I swear.

Also the fight was a hug fest, exactly like people predicted, whoever missed it is lucky. Hughie will always stink the place like his cousin (but without results).

that's interesting 'cos there's a recent interview with Tyson where's he talking about why he chose Ben as his new trainer, and their methods, etc., and one big thing he mentioned was NOT OVERTRAINING... he said he'd rather be massively undertrained than even a tiny bit overtrained, can't find the video right now, someone posted it around here, a little 5min thing, Tyson was saying when you're overtrained it's like fighting underwater or something like this. two possible take aways: Tyson really is surrounding himself with 'Yes Men' now; or Peter tends to go a bit too hard in the gym sometimes (as we see from Hughie tonight - jesusf#ck, his punches had no spite in them at all, right from the getgo)

It's understandable considering how lazy Tyson is. He doesn't like to train to begin with.
