This ain't amatuers where whoever lands more wins the quality of punches matter. Power shots > jabs. GGG went from a killer Big Drama Show and Mexican style to Cry About Judges show and Nothing But Scared Jab Style
GGG showed up to the press conference like
And everyone there is like this
But GGG landed more jabs doe LMAOLast edited by bigdunny1; 10-26-2018, 08:24 PM.

In the 2 biggest fights of his career he missed a historic 1100 punches but he landed 80 more punches than Canelo lol...that's what this game is about... and landed just 14 body shots. You don't win prize fights landing nothing but jabs getting outlanded in power punches and getting your face broke by the little guy while your trainer kept yelling stop backing up from him all fight. all nonsense...GGG's jab is as hard of a punch as most of Canelo's power punches

GGG's game has always been predicated on the jab though...and it's essentially a power punch anyway. Surely outlanding your opponent by that many punches and winning that many rounds tells you something?
As for winning a prize fight, yeah Canelo did enough to get a decision in Vegas, credit to him. I thank him for fighting GGG twice and giving GGG two big paydays. GGG could have knocked him out and made it even clearer I guess...but then he probably wouldn't be getting 3 fights out of this would he...

Let's see what GGG own trainer had to say

A lot of people think a lot of things. The one thing I know though is that Jacobs got dropped and GGG didn't. That's a fact.

Im a jacobs guy, im close to one of the guys on his team and im obviously extremely biased towards danny and with all that being said, i had no problem with the ggg decision over danny.. i thought it was a very close fight with the knockdown being the difference in the fight. if they fought again danny wins hands down. danny will also beat canelo if he is able to get by sergiy tomm night. for
some reason i am very nervous for danny tomm night. LETS FKN GO DANNY!!!!

Why you think GGG was scared to throw body shots because he didn't like those counters he was eating so didn't want to take risks and get knocked out. He was backing up when his trainer said the game plan was to go forward and kept doing it all night while being yelled at because he was scared of Canelo's power. He decided to box and not fight Mexican style after saying I will take the fight out of the judges hands in the rematch. He switched up real quick after Canelo put the heat on him land nothing but jabs after crying about the judges the first fight and demanding a Mexican Style fight? LMAO
Let's see what GGG own trainer had to say
And this is AFTER the fight during the fight he was caught on camera secretly telling GGG in the 8th you are losing the fight
Canelo is a great fighter and I applaud him for moving up and in his first two fights at 160 taking on the top dog at that weight. But he clearly lost the first fight and got easily outworked in most rounds. And the margin was less clear round by round in fight 2, but it was a similar 8-4 result for GGG.
And come on man, Abel knew what they were getting into in Vegas...big money but shady results. He is basically saying 'I knew what we were getting into, we didn't do enough to beat Canelo...in Vegas'...

But I see your posts on here and I know you are a fair-minded guy so reasonable people can differ. If Jacobs outlanded GGG 9/2 with one tie in rounds, people would be saying he won 10-2.
There are lots of agendas on this site. And yeah had the script been reversed certain people would be using the same reasons why Golovkin lost.
