Do you think Crawford could have gotten 3 mill a fight guaranteed from PBC?

Who knows, but he shoulda tested his market value. If Bob is paying him $3M a fight on an extension deal there is an extremely good bet he coulda got more if he'd had tested free agency out. With DAZN out here I think DAZN mighta made a bigger bid for him than PBC or anyone else.

I'm always for fighters testing out their free agency. Boxers are too loyal to promoters who'll sell them down the river when they can't make money for them anymore. Boxers need to take advantage of anything they can & free agency is something big name fighters with promoters often forgo for some reason beyond my understanding.

Kavaliauskas and Adames will be good opponents. They don't have big names like Benavidez did, but they will be every bit as good.

He would've gotten more because he'd have more PPV's. That's a nice guarantee but a PPV can quadruple that

MORE! As posted in another thread Earlier Today! It is a CAP on his earning potential because Arum will TELL HIM how much he can get compared to say a Mikey Garcia, Spence Jr or whoever who don't have a Promoter and have somewhat of a Free Range to Earn whatever their EVENT and PPV Sells without a Promoter taking most of it or a Promoter doing Side Deals and making more money off of you than you can imagine and pocketing it.

How the HELL are you winning if lets say you're the star and Headline of an Event that goes on to makes $80 Million Total but you're in a contract that says "You Make $3+Million A Fight" even if you're giving a % of PPV Sales you're still losing and your promoter STILL Walks away with WAY more money than you

Had he test the Free Agent Market especially right now, DAZN probably would've came with a huge offer as well as PBC and others I'm sure but Cong**** to Crawford, if he is happy with his deal then that is all that matters at the end of the day

For Crawford's camp, pretty much. Still Crawford seems to still have some fighter's pride about him (or simply doesn't like the public critique), which is why he's still talking about fighting the other champions and top fighters at 147lbs, even with Arum already having the date and opponent lined up for his next couple fights.

Unfortunately, corrupt sanctioning bodies each have their own suspect rankings that for some reason don't include other top tier fighters.

Bud can still get a big money fight against Khan or Brook, especially if he is willing to fight in the U.K.
According to Rafael, Spence and M. Garcia both earned around $3 million last fight...So yeah, I'd say they have surpassed the $2 million mark. And Hearn said both Thurman/DSG earned far more than the $2 million mark when they faced off.

Bud is getting crazy money though. He is loyal to TR and is getting paid like it. Now, in his contract I'm sure he negotiated something where the PBC fights wouldn't be prevented because he is on TR, but not sure how TR can guarantee him that. Maybe that is why Arum is throwing this out to the media to show Crawford's team he is trying everything in his power to make these fights but Haymon just isn't cooperating! He's the devil!!!!

It ain't like maidiana moved out to Beverly Hills homey... he's making that loot last in his homeland.. by the looks of it, on lots of food lol..

Thurman is holding onto his WBA title like the Pope, and It will be awhile before either Porter or Garcia get a rematch with him.

Part of the problem for Crawford is that he just isn't a big draw and certainly not a PPV attraction despite solid ratings on ESPN for his last fight. So the risk is too high for the reward at PBC to pit any of their fighters against him.
Spence is not fighting anyone worth a damn either but at least he's got options over there for the future. Crawford has zero opponents that I see..

Believe what you want, he wouldn't have retired if he wasn't set for the rest of his life.

He was touching millions before both of those fights, why did he suddenly stop? Don't be ignorant.
