You’re missing the point of hearns strategy. He is applying the same strategy in America that he hasn’t done in the uk ; move from city to city to get new fans interested. In the uk it has brought many of fans alongside watching boxing on sky (and beyond). It’s also a better way to get sales if you keep going to places which don’t have shows that frequently. We will see how it fairs in America but it’s proven very successful in the uk and is a large contributor to why boxing has improved so much in there last decade

No, I have said multiple times that I LOVE this strategy and it is one of the things I have trumpeted that American boxing needs. The strategy is sound, but the location for this one isn't. This isn't about expanding to a new American fanbase, this is trying to salvage a terrible card with 1 local fighter on the undercard that might put a few asses in the seats because they don't believe the rest of the card could fill any arena in the continental 48.
