so, Andre Ward can fight the totally unknown Alexander Brand on HBO..... but Golovkin is not a big enough star, even when fighting an ex-champ..... really?

    REALLY ?

I guess that must be why they call him lil'g

At that time yes. Goddamn you're *****ing dense. People's star power develops over time and the Brand fight was part of a deal that would eventually lead HBO to the Ward/Kovalev fights. The GGG fights would not have lead immediately to a fight with Cotto or Canelo so there was no financial benefit for airing those stay busy fights at the price GGG's team would have wanted. So it made more sense for GGG to take the fight overseas where he was still a huge draw. Sergio Mora already turned down a non-HBO offer to fight GGG overseas so he wasn't going to accept it later on.

listen here you shabby excuse-making clown.....

Golovkin's first fight on HBO was Proksa in 2012

        2012..... you fkn idiot

then he fought Rosado and Ishida

now you are trying to tell me that HBO would not be interested in matching Gennady up with an ex-champ who had clearly faded?

Mora was more well-known that any of those guys

you are an excuse-making moron who has continually embarrassed yourself by making ridiculous shabby excuses to protect your pacifist girlfriend.....

..... like the dopey excuse in my sig

Yes. I've been saying it all along.

No he wasn't. Mora faded from public consciousness. He was a nobody once again.

As of the time GGG fought Adama yes. And at the time he fought Brand it was part of the buildup for a Kovalev fight. So it made sense. There was no fight being built up to necessitate HBO paying for the mismatch you keep whining about.

              Not so complicated dumba$$.

you are a liar, and a idiot.....

if HBO aired Proksa/Ishida, they would have aired Mora

either way..... Team Bullshlt had to slink offshore to fight the guy they eventually selected..... so, your incorrect point is moot

insinuating that fighting an ex-champ on HBO is not as lucrative as fighting a nobody in a grass hut somewhere in Ghana..... is your usual level of ******ity

funny as fcuk to hear that Ward was a bigger star than Golovkin loool

Mora was a champion for a week like 6 years before the supposed date. He's about as far from being a real ex-champion as they get.
