Canelo knocked whatever fight was left in Khan completely out of him. Now he only fights ridiculously easy cherry picks and one of them knocked him down and gave him hell. Khan could have had a big money fight with a drained 147 pound Brook but he insisted on a 2nd weigh in to make sure Brook was even more drained as a way out of that fight. Khan was not bad when he was with Roach and he fought good fighters back then. Khan is not nearly as good now as he was then and should not be rated among the top 10 welterweights. Nobody is avoiding Khan. Khan is the one avoiding any top 10 world rated boxer.
It's an undeniable fact that Khan was avoided - you're just in denial. Mayweather and Bradley avoiding Khan were the most overt examples of ducking in boxing history. Bradley was recorded in a radio interview saying that he could lose to Khan and the fight was too risky. Mayweather put up a public poll which Khan won, but he ended up fighting the loser of that poll and someone Khan had beaten already- Maidana. None of that is based on opinion, these are actual facts so it's time to get used to acknowledging facts instead of making up strange conspiracy theories. With all the other fighters avoiding Khan (Marquez, Broner and most recently Pacquiao again) Khan could genuinely be considered the Most Avoided Fighter Of All Time.
