How can you expect someone to accept an offer when you can't prove where you're going to get the money from? I think Wilder is a huge risk and I want to see it but Hearn is too savvy, well connected and has too many options to be played.

and it turned out the money was from Warren and BT Sports so Hearn couldn't do the fight anyway, SKY have exclusive rights to show AJ fights in the UK.

AJ passed Wilder's career earnings with just 3 fights (Klitschko, Parker & Povetkin) and you think it should be a 50/50 split? The fact is AJ and Eddie Hearn have put in the work and taken the risks required to make him one of the highest paid athletes on the planet, Wilder has been fighting bums and no hopers right up until he fought Luis Ortiz.

Except that it turned out the 50 million came from Frank Warren and BT Sport so it was never going to be viable anyway, SKY have the exclusive rights to show Anthony Joshua's fights in the UK. That is the reason why they wouldn't say where the money was coming from.

They tried to pull a fast one or at least discredit Eddie Hearn, but he's never going to sign a contract that doesn't mention who gets the TV rights, and that's because of Anthony Joshua's deal with SKY. Do you really think Hearn is so fucking dumb that he would fall for that?

If you're selling your home, and someone offers you $300k you don't then sit down and ask to see the funds and demand to know where it came from.
