How can you duck somebody who isn't willing to fight you? Loma didn't want Mikey for his first fight at 135 and Loma himself said he didn't want Mikey for his first fight coming back from surgery. If Mikey/Loma doesn't happen after their Pedraza/Commey fights THEN we can start talking about whether Mikey is ducking or not. But at this point Loma is the one who has openly said that he doesn't want the fight until after Pedraza.

and thats the correct thing to do. loma is coming off shoulder surgery. He'd be ****** to fight an opponent of mikey's caliber without a tune up first. pedraza ain't no slouch either.

Crawford vs Spence

Ellie mentioned talking to Arum today with Robert saying Arum told him if Loma beats Pedraza thats the fight he and Loma want next.

Robert says he is already talking to Arum and says Arum does want to make the fight. He said thats a fight that needs to happen and it will happen.

Robert also says their is some negations that need to be made and he says Arum gave him some good ideas and plans on how to make it work. He says its not just Arums way or his sides way it also will benefit Mickey.

Makes me think Crawford vs Spence seems to be Spence's side that are not wanting the fight yet.

Loma did say he didnt want the fight until after pedraza because that does two things for the guy. Tests his shoulder after surgery and two allows them to fight for all the titles in their unification.

Lomachenko moved up and KOed the #2 guy at 135 in his first fight and that wasnt good enough for you or something? Linares was a fight that even Mikey didnt want.

If Mikey wanted Linares it could have happened but it didnt. He chose not to have that fight. Instead he did what? Moved up in weight to cherry pick a weak title holder? You think mikey could have beat any other 140 champ?
