Comments Thread For: Lomachenko: 135 Is Not My Ideal Weight Category Right Now

Vasiliy Lomachenko admits he is still getting acclimated at lightweight. Even after stopping Jorge Linares to win the WBA 135-pound championship five months ago, the skillful southpaw still feels as though he is growing into his new weight class. Ukraine's Lomachenko, who won world titles at 126 pounds and 130 pounds, will attempt to add a second lightweight title to his collection when he faces Jose Pedraza on December 8 in New York.

Read the article moron. He's saying that because he just moved up that he won't feel like a true Lightweight for a year or two. Perfectly logical since he's on the smaller side for the weight.

You’re such a nutthugger that if you read the article he’s clearly said he’s staying there. Wonder if Mikey will now focus on moving up again no Loma said he’s at 135 to stay? Probably since Mikey’s a gutless chicken.

He feels small for the weight but believes he will grow into it soon. He acknowledged that fighting a guy like Mikey coming off the surgery wouldn't be a good choice but Pedraza is a good opponent for his comeback fight. He wants the Mikey fight after Pedraza but acknowledged it's up to his promoter. The vids are on Fighthype and ESNews on youtube. Was pretty good interviews tbh. I like how Lomachenko is learning more and more English and his manager is a great translator.

The hate and jealousy is real for another great white fighter. The smallest weakest people in the world can't enjoy a true great talent and fighter like Lomachenko because of the pro black consciousness propaganda movement.

Vasyl Lomachenko is 30 years old, set for 31 in just under 4 months.

If you're really hanging your argument on Lomachenko, at the age of 30/31, still growing into weights, you're a fool.
