Has anyone thought that appealing to the general public with some KO fights are exactly what they are aiming for? This is what the casuals want to see

I think thats wrong. I think casuals wanna see good competitive fights like they wanna see competitive matchups in all sports. They wanna see Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castillo not Mike Tyson vs Carl Williams if they randomly find boxing in front of them. Thats what gets them excited in the moment.

And if thats what PBC was trying to do with these fights I think they f#cked sh^t up majorly cuz Harrison is a sleeper to beat ANYONE in the top ten including Mell & Monroe is a guy too into survival to get KO'd vs most of the top ten guys. I think Mall gets the job done vs Monroe, but it won't likely be fun viewing for casuals cuz it'll take awhile.

I disagree man. I think their individual stories are getting lost with fans cuz they seem like the same f#cking guy to a lot of mfers. F#ck man I have a hard time keeping track of which guy is at 154 & who's at 160 & it was even harder when they were both in the same division & I'm a hardcore fan arguing with some of the idiots here daily. If I'm losing the narrative surely casual mfers are too.

Advertising & marketing these two together I think is key to their rise & with gaining popularity in the mainstream public eyes. In fact I think their twinness makes them a novelty act thats more likely to catch fire. Sometimes you just need to embrace the brand you were born with & these two are a brand together & less of a brand by themselves. When/if they get super famous they can distance themselves more cuz they'll actually have more of a personal identity to mfers at that point.

Jermall Charlo has his tickover fight a week after Canelo has his tickover fight.

Andrade is the WBO champion (after an apparent so-so performance), the Derevyanchenko-Jacobs fight is this weekend, and Alvarez has publicly talked about sticking at 168lbs being an option.

Jermall Charlo wins his fight, and his next fight is likely for the WBC title, whether Alvarez still has the belt or not.

Spot on again! I think Tony Harrison is a dangerous fight for Jermell! I keep thinking how Harrison was giving Hurd the business, and then Hurd just overpowered him in the 9th! I don't know if Jermell can do the same, but he'll probably not eat as many punches as Hurd did!

100%. I think everyone would like too see Charlo in a big fight, but its not like Charlo is avoiding it. He's just out of the loop at the moment. He's in that sh^tty position of needing to wait for his number to be called. It sucks, but thats how this corrupt ass sketchy business works sometimes.

Is that in the works? Last I heard there was talk of BCC vs Lara. I really like BCC's potential & Lara has been my guy forever so I was really looking forward to that matchup. Thats not an uninteresting fight with J-Rock & Lara either doe I'll admit. J-Rock gets a bad rap for his L. Why does the WBC get to tell GGG who to fight when he isn't a champion? If he wants to fight Canelo again do you really think the WBC is going to block that fight? Hell no.
