It's fine the way it is. We just need same day weigh-ins to weed out weight manipulators.
Why not eliminate the 168 and 154 divisions

ABC organizations take a fee every time a belt holder fights.
If there are less weight divisions, less belt holders, they make less money.
They wont get rid of any divisions.

I think its a bad idea. The jump from 160 to 175 is huge. I don't think there have been any middleweights since Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins who have been able to do it and win titles.Comment

Guys like Ward would have been 175 originally and might have had a great trilogy with Kovalev.
And a SHYT LOAD of talent would be packed into 147.Comment
