I stopped relying on Rotten Tomatoes for movie reviews. Around 2013 they dropped their standards and every score since then has been way off. Metacritic is the best site right now to determine how good a movie is.

Example, Halloween (2018) has a rating of 86. Metacritic gives it a score of 66.
