PBC needs to cycle this sh^t better. They CLEARLY don't have dates for guys if they aren't giving one of their most promising guys at the forefront of the news with a actual date vs an actual opponent quicker then they do.

They do this with a lot of cats. So many mfers are feeling so in limbo they mention not having a date their damn self on SM.

Fair play on Gary Russell not wanting to fight but once a year cuz he gots hand injuries. But Spence & Tank & Charlo & a bunch of these other dudes are in limbo far too f#cking long. Give these mfers a fight on the board ffs.

Like I said Bob is already saying Bud is fighting in April/May & he just fought last week. And I'd bet he gots a hard date within 2 months. PBC leaves guys up in the air too long & THEY are. Its not like I'm making this sh^t up & trying to be ultra-critical of PBC. I'm a fan & rooting for PBC, but they are f#cking ****** with some of these squares pegs they keep trying to fit in round holes. Fans want something to be excited for & to talk about with boxers they enjoy. Boxers want hard dates on the schedule. This isn't a crazy or unrealistic thing to want to see.
But we all know that's how PBC has always worked. No fights on the horizon and then boom a fight out of nowhere is announced so I wouldn't put to much stock into not having a firm date set when we know for a fact they have 10 on fox, 12 on showtime (and FS1 but he's not fighting on there). We know for a fact Spence is getting one of those 22 available dates and probably a PPV. If not he'll get 2 of those dates.

Now if you're talking the Charlo's or Davis I'll agree with you. But I think Davis problems is mostly Floyd being vindictive. He did that to Davis when Davis didn't want to move to Vegas. Then a fight with Pedraza popped up outta nowhere.

I remember hearing Wilder wouldn't have a PPV after the AJ fight fell thru to so take that for what it's worth.

Ok but that doesn't mean it should be a PPV.. You wanna pay for Spence vs Porter? That's not a PPV fight and that's the big fight he will have in the next year unless he's gonna slaughter Garcia in the spring.. that will be a PPV massacre

It don't seem like its working for the fighters cuz they are talking about it on SM & that means its not working for PBC cuz its making the PBC brand look incompetent & amateur-ish.

And its not working for fans cuz I as a big Spence fan wants to be talking about his next fight on Dec. w/e vs whoever instead of wondering if he'll be fighting in Dec. at all. I mean ffs he merked this last dude in June like nothing. He shoulda fought again in Sept. already after that breezy fight. I'm sure he woulda loved to fight by now himself.

This is a ****** model the PBC uses. People like to talk about fights & look forward to this sh^t & make plans in advance to attend fights. Thats one of the reasons these mfers have trouble with ticket sales even for some of their big names. Mfers plan ahead to go to fights. You can't spring sh^t on people 6 weeks out. Sh^t some of these mfers gotta spend a month just to talk their girl into going with them or her being okay with him going with friends with all these ***** whipped mfers out there lol.

Now if you're talking the Charlo's or Davis I'll agree with you. But I think Davis problems is mostly Floyd being vindictive. He did that to Davis when Davis didn't want to move to Vegas. Then a fight with Pedraza popped up outta nowhere.
Sure Tank & Floyd got issues going on beyond this, but it still seems like an issue thats a PBC issue with their name guys.

PBC keeps trying to "change the game" with the dumbest sh^t. That ****** ass Hanz Zimmer song. That giant ass expensive thing above the ring that cost 100k or w/e to take to venue to venue or w/e the f#ck lol. No announcers. Putting out a last minute schedule. No one is with a promoter who's talking about them week in, week out to the media. And some of this sh^t just isn't working to help the sport of boxing or get the fans who drive the sport of boxing forward excited for their product. Okay great Porter is making $1.5M a fight vs the 750k he'd otherwise be making maybe & thats great for Porter, but so much of the zest & fun of the sport is sh^t PBC keeps trying to erase or not act like its a thing.

And the thing is this sh^t is simple. Just make the mfing fights people wanna see that are in house fights for PBC or keep it moving forward with keeping guys active in competitive enough fights that people wanna see fight regardless of if its a big fight. This sh^t ain't even THAT hard when you got the quality product PBC has. People wanna see Errol Spence & Tank Davis & the Charlo brothers & Deontay Wilder fight. And they wanna see that 154lb division get decided between all the PBC guys thats been sitting idle til recently & they wanna see the 147lb division get decided between all these PBC guys that coulda done been decided pre-Thurman getting married & chronically injured.

So much power is in PBC's hands, but they are like a p#rn dude with a 13 inch **** who don't like to f#ck.

Incompetent and amateur-ish to who? Boxing writers and fans or Network executives putting up half a billion dollars?

              To the public at large.

Like I said its basic f#cking sh^t. You don't shelf a notable healthy guy without a date for THIS long. There is no upside to this & there is only downsides to this.

You can make this some weird thing if you wanna, but no one who's operating at a high level in this sport is doing this ****** sh^t thats making it harder to grow PBC guys into bigger names then they are.

PBC guys should be hitting the boxing news headlines twice as much as they are cuz we should be talking about Spence vs Ugas or whoever he's going to fight back in Aug. when they announce the fight & then again in the weeks before the fight like happens for ever other fight.

PBC is just being hard headed with trying to "change the game" on something there is no upside in changing. Or they are doing business so bad behind the scenes they COULDN'T announce dates early cuz they aren't putting sh^t together very competently.

There are downsides to this PBC thing. I'm a fan, but when dumb sh^t is happening I'm gonna call it dumb sh^t & not just be happy cuz Shawn Porter is making more then he'd otherwise be making. If I was Shawn Porter they'd be great, but the reality is 99.9% don't give a f#ck how much money Porter is making. People do care when fighters they wanna see aren't fighting or even got a fight scheduled they can talk about with fans.

Spence is one of my favorite boxers these days, but PBC isn't doing this dude justice. There is 0 reason he shouldn't have fought already or had a fight scheduled. They are helping him get more money for each specific, but I'd argue they are slowing his upward trajectory in the sport by sitting him so much & his narrative being lost after each fight unlike fighters with promoters who'll talk about them between fights thus lowering his ultimate ceiling in the game so sh^t is equaling out any damn way.

Pac vs Spence for sure is a PPV but that wont ever happen unless they give Manny like 20 million and then Spence will want at least 10 and neither of those things are gonna happen.

If Spence gets Garcia I'm sure that's a PPV and I'll buy it but its gonna be a one sided beatdown for Spence. Crawford-Spence is THE fight at 147.
Spence-Porter is a big enough event to warrant the disclosed $4m that goes to the main event fighters for the CBS shows, without much question; a fight like that is basically borderline viable for PPV (interest about on par with Golovkin-Jacobs, imo).

And let Keith Thurman run through a full press run, show up on fight night, and crush a serviceable fighter in his return (the rumored Josesito Lopez fight wouldn't cut it, but if he got in with a guy like Devin Alexander or Andre Berto or Yordenis Ugas, fine) and the fire would be lit pretty quick.

Still, beyond that, there are comfortably a handful of fights for Spence Jr that can be argued are viable for PPV without Terence Crawford.

Crawford looked so-so against Jeff Horn before dominating him for the last two rounds, and looked so-so against Benevidez Jr before pulling away late (catching him with that uppercut late seems to have erased the actual view of the bout folks were watching).

You can't be THE fight at anything when no one is earnestly excited about any of the other fights that you might actually be in.

                  I mean who's saying that.

I'm simply saying this notable guy in boxing should be on the schedule in more timely fashion. Joshua had his Apr. date BEFORE his Sept. fight happened. We know Canelo is gonna book the Mexican holiday dates & we even knew this surprise Dec. fight was gonna likely happen within the week after GGG II. Bud just fought & he's being talked about fighting in April or May. Loma had his Dec. fight booked quickly after he was deemed healthy to fight. This is how this sh^t works for the notable guys in the sport w/e team they play for.

PBC gots this clusterf#ckish goofy sh^t with planning out their schedule doe. And the fighters are talking about it too thats where I'm really seeing this is an issue. Cuz sh^t man who am I to say a mfer should fight. But you got fighters saying idk whats up with my next fight lmfao. Wtf man. Thats amateur sh^t at this level of the game.

Yea we both know what Spence is "likely" to be doing next, but he's not doing sh^t officially & his last fight was 4 months ago & he's got nothing on the board.

This is Spence himself a couple weeks ago. I'm sure there are a hundred examples of PBC guys b^tching or hinting at wanting fights or not having a fight if one took the time to look.

                  I'd rather be the promoter.

But idk wtf **** measuring fools gots to do with Spence's issues. Spence don't care if Bud got a headache. Spence has his own bs going on. So who cares about that.

There is clearly a problem with how the PBC scales out there fights. Idk what they are doing that makes it so hard to say Spence is fighting on Dec. w/e, Charlo is fighting on Nov. w/e & Tank is fighting on Jan. w/e, but this is for sure without argument a PBC problem that I & anyone not fanboying about PBC is seeing.
It's a for sure herding cats type situation, lol. Still, there's positives/negatives to most things.

-Anthony Joshua got his two dates, but with a bait/switch for the first one and now is seemingly left trying to sell the Whyte rematch as something folks were clamoring to see in April.

-Crawford just got through with a Benevidez fight that no one wanted, and now he's standing behind a Bob Arum smokescreen to get to a Kavaliauskas fight that no one wants.

Spence Jr doesn't seem the type to simply want to head into a camp to blow out a Josesito Lopez-level fighter, but the big fights on his side of the fence have to fighters come to the terms to fight first, with the show coming together after that.

With Keith Thurman still on the shelf, Spence's next big fight is against Shawn Porter, a fight that Kenny/Shawn aren't all that excited to push for.

Showtime usually goes light for the Fall (competing against Football makes no sense), but they'll likely be back on schedule for the Winter. Pair that with the start of the FOX schedule, and things will come online pretty quickly (Charlo-Sulecki, Pacquiao-Broner, Garcia-Commey, LSC-GRJ, Tank-Mares, etc).

It sucks for fans, but if the business gets handled (the actual principles will no well in advance of fans), Spence likely has the Porter fight penciled in for the Summer, he gets his tickover fight in the Winter (December/January/February, with Showtime and FOX looking for events to fill in), and he would've only really say out 7 months this time.

The fights need to be delivered, but I'd rather deal with this, as a fan, then to see a fight every 4-5 months that the bookies lay at 10:1 from the moment it's announced, especially if taking the bs fight doesn't lead anywhere
