Anyone who cannot see the end of PPV, as I have been ****ing on about for 2 years, is living under a rock. PPV is poor value, streaming services are much better value. It’s also going to change the shape of management and promotion in a way a lot of the industry isn’t ready for.

DAZN and ESPN just put PPV on life support and on it's way to VHS.

I'm not really seeing anyone say the obvious. PPV isn't gone even if streaming is where all the big fights happen cuz streaming IS simply a hybrid PPV model if you really look at whats going on.

And PPV was what ruled the day for most of my time as a boxing fan.

And before that closed circuit is where big fights happened.

And before that you had to go & pay to watch at theaters after the fact cuz only the mfers at the venue watched the fight live.

Boxing has virtually always been a Pay to Watch sport since its earliest years til the present. Nothing has really changed. You're still paying to view fights.
All great points.............I may need to rethink this through
