Was anyone really surprised?

No matter how much money you make, you can always spend more.

I am in finance, in particular wealth management and financial planning. Have seen countless doctors making $300k a year or more spend $500k a year and being dead broke.

While I do not work with athletes, I do know others that do... more often then not, NFL in particular, athletes are broke within 5 years of leaving the sport. They all spend spend spend and don't even consider they will have to stop.

One of those NFL players, with his awesome championship ring was in my office trying to sell mutual funds...

Boxing is no different... and with Floyd we see it... yes, the guy makes TONS of money.... but he is also the champion at spending it and making ****** financial decisions.... instead of putting it away to make it earn money for you, he is FORCED to come out and do anything he can... not because he wants to, but because he has to.

These guys don't understand. They only understand that Floyd made 500 to 700 million and that it is impossible to spend it all.

Never mind his infinite consumption of million dollar material items that are losing value by the year.
