I do, but it's not as personal as you might think. I enjoy reading success stories and tragic broke stories. I troll Floyd, but it's just for laughs.

I might consider doing research and doing a paper as a serious case study of Mayweather in 15 years if he does in fact go broke.

His case is different from Tyson and Holyfield as we have real time updates and time stamps on all his big purchases as they're historically documented on social media.

This would be the ultimate going broke story, and I might capitalize on it someday.

The problem is Floyd thinks his money will never run out.

You can run out of money if you spend like Floyd, even if you have $700 million dollars. You can definitely spend it all.

What's going to happen in 10 years when Floyd's two jets are old and considered dinosaurs? He's going to want two new ones. Guess what? That's another 75 to 90 million dollars.

What's going to happen when his Bugatti's are old and dated, and Buggati has a line of flashy new electric self driving Buggati's and Floyd still has his 10 year old cars? He's going to want new ones. He won't be able to come back for one fight at 49 years old for a 100 million dollar pay day like he's used to.

One final thing about Floyd, the man could have been a legend. He could have saved all his money, bought a nice mansion that isn't so excessive and strived to become a billionaire. He wasn't too far off before his crazy spending, I suppose.

But no, fool has to buy things that will age and lose value all to show off on social media. A mission to sway approval of millions of people that don't really give a *** about you anyway.

Was anyone really surprised?

No matter how much money you make, you can always spend more.

I am in finance, in particular wealth management and financial planning. Have seen countless doctors making $300k a year or more spend $500k a year and being dead broke.

While I do not work with athletes, I do know others that do... more often then not, NFL in particular, athletes are broke within 5 years of leaving the sport. They all spend spend spend and don't even consider they will have to stop.

One of those NFL players, with his awesome championship ring was in my office trying to sell mutual funds...

Boxing is no different... and with Floyd we see it... yes, the guy makes TONS of money.... but he is also the champion at spending it and making ****** financial decisions.... instead of putting it away to make it earn money for you, he is FORCED to come out and do anything he can... not because he wants to, but because he has to.

lol Floyd isn't an airline. He doesn't even need ONE jet. He's not a CEO that fly's out to customers or business partners either.
